About Us
Vechell’s Cedar View Resort was built by two brothers in the
50’s. We’re still the same family and are one of the few
remaining mom-and-pop resorts that used to be standard fare
for Michigan vacations — when a vacation was
piling the kids and dog into the car, heading north to the
cabin at the lake.
We’re still about the best of what those bygone mom-and-
pop resorts offered — we don’t have granite counters or the
latest furnishings — but we do have clean, cozy, affordable
cabins — we’re still a place to gather up north across the
bridge with family and friends at the cabin on the lake — we’re
still a small resort big on heart and hospitality.
We’d love to have you, your family and friends as our guests.
Nature and the resort’s simple pleasures provide a refreshing
and deep sense of peace, calm and slow in these hectic and
fast-paced times. You’ll always be warmly welcomed here —
we’re a place where memories are made and cherished for a
